Ms. Marianne McInerney, Chairwoman of the Board
Ms. McInerney has over three decades of tremendous executive and leadership experience managing and directing operations, communications, development and government affairs programs within nonprofit, corporate and government. She is a dynamic, solution-led executive and communications strategist with a consistent track record of achievement. She has been a trusted advisor to C-Level suites and boards with extensive experience guiding dozens of emerging companies through business planning, capital raising, brand positioning, product and market launches and revenue development objectives.

In addition to her executive position in various private and public companies, Ms. McInerney served as Director of Public and Media Relations at several non-profit organizations including the United Way of America, where she was responsible for development of new strategic partnerships and maintenance of corporate relations with Fortune 500 companies including national campaigns with Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games and the National Football League. In addition, she was responsible for constituent relations, educational, and issues outreach to 1,400 member organizations.
Ms. McInerney is the past president of American Automobile Dealers Association, a 11,000 member association representing international automobile dealers on matters of free trade, regulatory and small business issues. Under Ms. McInerney’s leadership, the 30-year organization returned to financial stability through development of new member programs and revitalized legislative agenda.
Ms. McInerney served as the Assistant Secretary and Director of Public Affairs for the Department of Transportation from 2017 to 2020. She was the U.S. President appointed Press Officer for the United States Peace Corps and for the Federal Housing Finance Board under the Bush administration. She was Director of Public Relations for World Vision, the International relief and development agency. In addition, McInerney worked as speech writer and press secretary for U.S. congressional members and managed political campaigns throughout the country.
As the mother of two student athletes, Ms. McInerney is a vocal advocate of fairness and equality in high school and college sports.
